This week has been quite a challenge! Work and home has been stressful and I can't wait for the weekend to start. However, as much as I am eager to start a relaxing weekend, I really could not think of something different to give it a nice jumpstart. We have 4 dogs so it's really hard to getaway due to the costly expense of boarding, so going out of town is out of the question. Any suggestions? My boss took the day off yesterday and told me he needed a mental health day. I thought it was an interesting concept. Maybe that's what I need!
Maybe you should go to the spa and get a massage that way you don't have to go out of town and still get at least an hour or two of relaxation. You would feel so much better after that!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds really tempting but I know that it's also very costly. I've tried it before and I swore I would never spend $120 for an hour massage that my husband can do for free! I guess it also depends on the place. I went to a spa resort in Napa, CA. Although the place was really, surrounded by vineyards, I was not really able to relax a 100% since all the while I was thinking of what I could otherwise have bought with the money I just paid for an hour massage. I guess it was not for me but I had to try it alond with my cousins. Anyway, I decided to stay home since the weather was crappy anyway. I had a nice quiet weekend with my new puppy. Thanks for the suggestion though.
